Two component system for emulsification of neem oil, karanj oil, fish oil and other natural oils.

Introduction:

Neem oil and Karanj oil are extensively used in agriculture as eco-friendly insecticide and fungicide. Since these oils widely vary in composition depending on the geography and method of extraction no single emulsifier can serve all types of oil.

This two component system offers complete flexibility to match all compositions of neem oil & karanj oil and many other oils.

Dose:

The total combined dose of sudasol 1568 and sudasol 1585 is 5-10% depending on the type of oil and concentration of EC required.

Specifications:

• Active content: blend of ethoxylates
• Appearance: pale yellow to brown liquid.
• Solubility: soluble in most oils and organic solvents.
• Insoluble in water.

Method of use:

Mix the two components in various ratios and mix with oil blank to find the optimum combination for the required blank. Dose is to be ascertained based on the desired stability of emulsion in water.

APPLICATION:

SUDASOL 1466 is a single component formulation for preparing Nitrobenzene EC from 20% to 60%

PROCESS (for 100Kg EC):

Nitrobenzene 20EC

1. Take 20 kg. Nitrobenzene.

2. Add 80 Kg Sudasol 1466.

3. Mix well.

SUDASOL BT 50 is a state of art product designed to formulate Pretilachlor/Butachlor EW (Emulsion in Water) formulations. The product has been designed for the formulators of Pretilachlor/Butachlor EW keeping in mind the cost efficacy and ease of use. The product inculcates following features:-

1. Single component system

2. No additional thickening agent (Gum) is required to improve the viscosity

3. Emulsion made is smooth and homogenous

4. Cost-effective because of extremely low dose (0.8-1%)

5. Easy to use.

PROCEDURE

1. Add Butachlor/pretilachlor technical and required quantity of DMW (Demineralized Water) in a stirring vessel.

2. Start stirring.

3. Slowly add SUDASOL BT 50 under stirring so that it evenly mixes with the material.

4. Once the calculated quantity of BT-50 is added you will see that the white emulsion is formed

5. Keep stirring for some time to achieve homogenous mixing

6. Product is ready

NOTE: Stirring should not be such that on adding SUDASOL BT-50 it sticks to the wall of vessel due to centrifugal force.

DMW should be of 0-5 TDS
DOSE: 0.8-1% of the formulation. E.g. for making 100 kg 37% Butachlor EW one has to add

1. 37 Kg Butachlor Technical

2. 62 kg DMW

Please note if the viscosity achieved after adding 1% Sudasol BT 50 is not enough for the observer then the dose can be taken upto 1.25%
